password wrong

Password is wrong ?

Installed Vista beta 2, logged on with my password, downloaded Creative Audigy Vista beta drivers and restarted. Entered password and was told wrong password or incorrect user. This is all within 20 minutes time. I didn't forget the password, but how can this happen? What can I do ? I don't have any reset disc that it asks for only the 2 dvd's from microsoft.

If you're talking about the administrator password, the password by default is blank - nothing there. Make sure you're logging in on the right domain as well... if the worst comes to the worst, reset your password in the Computer Manager > Local Users and Groups.

Thanks Zack, but I got it . Seems Vista on my puter doesn't start with numlock on like xp did, so the password I thought I entered was right, just no numbers. Hehe, just a little embarrasing.
