my password just disappeared
... i'm using the wrong password, although i'm sure at 100% that i'm writing the right one. Further more, the computer itself is programmed to remember the password but even when i try to use this feature the site continues to claim that the password is wrong. it's like the password disappeared, how can this be ?

The basic problem seems to be that it is not very helpful in its error messages or indeed error detection - if there is anything wrong it just says "the pppd daemon died unexpectedly".
